Upper Grid

Load-bearing metal structure, located in the ceiling of the stage house and covering the entire stage surface, made up of metal beams connected to the framework by a series of suspenders. The upper grid is used to hang lifting equipment. It can also be equipped with running rails for moving beams, from which chain hoists or point hoists can be suspended.
When the theater is not equipped with a grid, the upper grid receives all the loads of the suspended scenic equipments.
