Atelier Médicis

Building on the preparatory work initiated with the construction of the temporary building for the future Ateliers Médicis in 2018, this new location, in the heart of a downgraded suburb, aims to bring culture to areas lacking in resources: a place for creation, research, and artistic education, designed to give shape to diverse uses and practices. This new building is situated in the midst of a neighborhood undergoing significant transformation, where the urban renovation project for the Plateau district is nearing completion. This compact building will be constructed using bio-sourced materials (wood), local materials (raw earth), and reclaimed materials (bricks).
