As both a historic site and a cultural and artistic facility, the Cité is centered around a program entirely dedicated to the French language. A multifunctional auditorium, adaptable to various configurations, occupies the Jeu de Paume building. TAMBÈ was responsible for the design and installation of the rigging and staging equipment for this auditorium.
Over-stage machinery:
Stage and auditorium upper grid, 5 motorized trusses composed of 2 line shaft-winches and three-dimensional aluminum beams, 2 remote motorized flybars, and 1 projection screen with a fly system.
Under-stage machinery:
12 motorized lift platforms in the auditorium for setting up the seating. These are equipped with a lateral stair system, deployed using rack-and-pinion guides, adjusted according to the desired seating capacity.
1 motorized lift platform at the front of the stage that can serve as a proscenium or accommodate 2 additional rows of seats at floor level.
3 stage lift platforms allowing for varying stage heights based on configurations.
Removable guardrails.
A computerized control system operated via a wireless tablet.
