Théâtre National Populaire

Villeurbanne (69)

The National Popular Theatre, founded in 1920 by Firmin Gémier in the Palais du Trocadéro in Paris, was relocated to the Gratte-Ciel district of Villeurbanne in 1972. Since its restructuring and expansion, it now features 3 performance halls and 4 rehearsal rooms, establishing itself as one of the most significant theater stages in Europe.
